Here at Body Lines Dance and Fitness, we offer a variety of adult and children dance and fitness programs, including Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Pilates, Plyometrics, Personal Training and more. We are located in the heart of Markham and have an exciting program in store for you!

Children's Programs

Recreational Summer Camps

Body Lines would like to invite you to attend our summer camps! Whether your child likes to bounce, roll and tumble or make up their own dance routines; this acro dance camp is for you! Instruction in Acro, Jazz and Hip hop along with a different craft each day. The children will also play a variety of dance games, learn age appropriate dance choreography and get to use our fun gymnastic equipment. At the end of the week we invite the parents to a view mini performance for their viewing pleasure. (Ages 4 yrs to 11yrs.)

Week 1: July 9th-13th, Week 2: July 30th- August 3rd

Week 3: August 13th-17th

Advanced Acro Intensive Camps

These camps are for children who are looking for more of a challenge. Each camp will concentrate on flexibility training, conditioning, acro skills and drills. Each child will work towards their goals that both the student and instructor see fit. If you are a competitive dancer or looking to advance in acrobatics; this intensive camp is for you!

Week 1: July 16th-20th, 9:30am-12:30pm (Invitation Only. Please inquire if you are looking to become a member of the Body Lines Performance/ Competitive Team)

Week 2: August 7th-10th: 10am-4pm. (four day week)

Cost for Camps:

Half-day 1pm-4pm $140, including tax. Full-day 10am-4pm $170, including tax

Children 8 week Acro Dance Summer Programs: (These programs start the first week of July)

Mini Acro Dance: Tuesday 4:30pm-5:15pm (4-6yrs)
Jr/Inter Acro Dance: Tuesday 5:15pm-6:15pm (7yrs-10yrs)

Acro Theatre: Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm (Ages 6-10yrs, see dance page for description.) Summer Promotional Class: only $108.48 taxes in!!

Acro Dancing Tots: Saturday 9:30am-10:15am (ages 2.5 yrs-4.5 yrs)

Drop In Acro Skills: Thursday 4:30pm-5:30pm (Advanced Level 1-must be tested prior to taking this class)

Drop In Acro Skills: Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm (Advance Level 2, must be tested prior to taking this class)

Adult Programs

Boot Camp

Looking for a way to let off some steam, burn unwanted calories and tone up for the winter months? Body Lines has created a new boot camp style classe on Mondays from 7pm-8pm. Take the time out of your busy schedule and start today! Its time to take care of yourself. See fitness page for details.

Zumba Fit

Looking for a way to spice up your fitness regime?  Body Lines is  pleased to announce that Zumba Fit is now available.  This class is fun, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, and will help you burn all those unwanted calories. Join the fun and sign up today! 8 week sessions. $126.56 including tax. Next sessions starting:

Personal Training and Private Pilates

Contact us today and tell us what your personal fitness goals are! Our experienced trainers will be able to help you shed off those hard to lose pounds and/or tone up your muscles while adding variety to your workout. Each session ends with a proper cool down with assisted stretching, which will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

 

 

About Us

Body Lines Dance and Fitness is a new facility in which a number of highly skilled and experienced professionals have collaborated together, through dance and fitness, for the purpose of promoting healthy living.

Our qualified trainers will motivate you on your way to achieving your personal goals, whether it be to educate yourself on the proper form and technique used in different fitness programs or to simply add variety to your workout, while having fun in a personal or small group fitness setting.

The owners and creators of Body Lines, Christine and Erin, have an extensive background in training competitive gymnasts, dancers and other young athletes, as well as a background in Personal Training, Pilates, nutrition, healthy living, post rehab and injury prevention. Together, they were able to develop specialized programs for fitness and dance that combine the best of each technique. More and more we are discovering that flexibility and core strength are the key ingredients to healthly bodies and preventing injuries. Each and every class at Body Lines, from dance to fitness, combines funtional, challenging exercises specific to the sport, dance, or everyday life that suits you, with assisted stretching to lengthen your muscles and relieve tension.
